CONTEXT: Within a global SAP S/4HANA template program the existing legacy master data tool was due for replacement. Before committing the template to SAP MDG, technical feasibility had to be proven for an unusually broad scope of more than 500 master data and reference data objects.
OUR CONTRIBUTION: Expert advisory for the first phase - technical feasibility assessment, target design and implementation planning for the MDG-based solution, delivered together with the implementation partner as part of the global template program.
BUSINESS BENEFIT: A feasibility verdict and an implementation plan available before the template decision was locked - a scope of more than 500 objects assessed on evidence rather than on estimate. The template went to SAP MDG, with the legacy replacement path defined.
